Default Best Full Size Headphones manufacturer?

This poll is not asking "who makes the best headphone" but who overall (including customer service, build quality, sound, value, consistency of product quality) is the most dependable company?

I MISSED STAX / DENON OUT, PLEASE USE OTHER FOR THEM - Sorry!

this poll is Useless IMO

All of them are equaly good, except some of them wich are not so great.
Best headphones of those companies are not better that others, just different, that's it, i will not vote because i put senn/beyer/grado and akg on the same level, just different flavours....

Edit: Everyone will vote the headphone they actualy have, that's common for head-fi...

Useless to YOU , it is just to get a consensus. I would put Sennheiser ahead of Grado for instance due to some build quality issues i had with my sr80s.

Sennheiser all the way. Not just as quality product, but outstanding Canadian service and support.

This poll is a bit ridiculous imo. All of the brands make some great headphones as well as some duds. Sennheiser is going to win not not because they are the best, but rather because they are the most well known. Or people are simply going to vote for what they have.

There are many manufacturers which are good from every point of view, Sennheiser has easily available spares, so does Beyer, which even offers the "Manufaktur" custom shop service, AT makes the most comfortable full sized phones( subjective opinion of course ), AKG is a well respected brand even in pro and studio monitoring, i wouldn't know what to vote seriously...

I chose Grado for product and service based on calls to the company including their phono carts.

I agree that this poll is rather pointless.

I own headphones made by multiple manufacturers (as do many here): Grado, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, and Beyer. And I use almost all of them (multiple rigs) at any given time. I couldn't say any one company is consistently better than another as I would place all of my headphones at about the same level in terms of quality. But even if you could, what would be the point?

The diversity of opinion this poll displays will not be tolerated when IngSoc takes control.

I vote for Dr. Dre. I know he builds each pair of those "beats" in his basement.

I think it's a great poll. Thanks, OP. Although leaving Denon off probably compromises the results somewhat.

ridiculous poll. I hope everyone who votes has had experience with every manufacturer in the poll, with the products purchased from each being on the same price level.
