Default Another koss ksc75 mod

i got a little curious and started to take apart my koss ksc75

so i took off the grey caps and put the clips back on and got this

result: more comfortable because the clips have more room for rotation

then i realized that leaving the soldering joints bare could damage my headphones so i cut off the top part of the grey cap and put them on like this

the clip? or the headphone?

there shouldn't be a difference in the clip.
as for the driver, i think they stay on better because they have a better fit

I just tried it and they are more comfortable this way. You get quie a bit more freedom of movement with the clip, but im not sure if i want to cut the plastic thing and make this a permanent mod. How did you cut it?

I just used a pair of wire cutters on mine, then sanded it down a bit to give it a better edge.

Thanks, they do feel and fit a lot better.
