Everyone, unless a date is posted by me, it does not exist.
I think I was tricked by someone, who previously posted the specific shipping date, and that person edited the information when I didn't realize to edit my post. That's why I mentioned April 16th in the previous post. Sorry about the fraud information.
in.......out........in.........out.............may be if I hold my breath until I turn blue Westone will hurry up....................OUT.....almost died there....never mind......in......out.....in.....out
The reason nothing is on the current site is because we are a few weeks away from lauching a new monster site. ALL efforts are going into that, so we decided to use the forums to get the word out. The new site will have info, just take a deep breath..in....out....in...out...
I just discovered this forum recently. I take it that Powerhound23 must be a Westone employee. It was not my intention to question the honesty of anyone. I simply used unfortunate phrases in my original post. Dave
If you say the word "sibilance" there's a lot of "ssss" in the word...so headphones or iem's that accentuates the "ssss" sound means they're sibilant, or have sibilance problems. Again, that's at the user-end.

I don't get any sibilance from my UM2s either...
REF: Neutral vs. Flat => I sometimes use "flat" in a good way when now I realize I should be using the word "neutral".
"Flat" is a negative characteristic as in a "flat woman" whereas "neutral" designates that the earphones were not "manipulated" or enhanced in the "steroid" sense of the word. Every time you enhance a specific range it has to be in relation to the other ranges (that was Einstein!). You will always risk pleasing some people and displeasing others based on their personal listening tastes. When you keep the sound "neutral" I believe you would preserve more of the entire range leaving the enhancements to be made by the individual listener via EQ. I think you can, at the end, "extract" more of what you like from a neutral earphone than from an "enhanced" one.
Is that right Doug?
