Westone 3 - You asked for it, we listened !

Not yet, and still no official date from Westone either. Optimists are estimating the end of this month at the earliest.

We haven't had many updated from Westone lately have we? While I'm not really all that upset that they haven't shipped yet, I am dissapointed that after building 53 pages of hype here on Head-Fi, Westone doesn't seem very interested in keeping us in the loop anymore.

If the reason we are being neglected is because they are really that busy trying to solve the problem, then it's probably for the best they focus their efforts on that rather than PR here. Still, I don't think that it would take too much time for them to post a couple of sentences. Perhaps they honestly don't have any more meaningful information to give us at this point...

I think everyone should just shut up and wait. Westone's saying nothing b/c there's nothing to say! I guarantee there will be a big hoopla made once the 3's are ready to go.

I'm getting quite annoyed about the situation. I understand that delays happens all the time, whether its with software release, other IEM release, or well, just pretty much anything/everything. But for Westone to have a delay was a bit disappointing. I've had the UM1 and UM2, and the service I've received from Westone staff are nothing short of excellent, thus, if there's ONE company that I have great respect for, its Westone.

I dunno about the U3 anymore... I was going to get it, but I think the hype for me has died down significantly. Realistically, I think I'll wait for half a year or so to see how people likes the U3 before reconsidering it.

I really need these badboys shipped before end of July so I can redeem my free digital camera.

I wonder if earphonesolutions can charge my card before shipping... hope I dont have to go to that point, but you know at this rate anything goes...

Since the spec changed and it's look like the previous problem with the packing wasn't real(maybe it was with upgrading the drivers). I think something realy going on between these two compinies since the triple drivers and three way drivers IEMs actual launch date getting behind, figure it out.
