I am pretty sure Alex can buy the headphones for you here in the states, recable them and send them to you. Also, you can buy headphones in For Sale forum here and have the seller ship them to Alex to get recabled, and then Alex will send them to you.

wilashort:

You can just purchase a new or used pair here from the USA and have them shipped directly to us for recable. Once recabled we would ship them directly to you.

Thanks,
Alex

This is exactly what I have doing these days and Alex has been providing excellent, peace of mind services. I lost count of how many headphones recabling and cables I ordered from Alex, and I have 100% satisfaction on all my transactions.

Very good for you, but i have some extra limitations/issues. I have to use an middleman/importer to buy anything from USA (i don't have Paypal account and credit card), and it's worst to buy and article in USA; to send it to another location there (i have to pay extra money for redirect the shipping to another location where Apuresound is located for example). Instead of his default location [where come the merchandise that myself buy from a store and that be send to my country (and i am not the only client....)].
For that is better to buy the phone already recabled.

At least that he accepts international money order. It have to be send to one individual instead of a company (Maybe Western Union works, (if it works) it can be very expensive).
The another solution can work, but i have the same complications as above...

I was 'expecting' (if you has the headphones already recabled for sale) a fixed price, but of the another form, i have to wait a lot more time and i have to pay more money to get them in my house and the above issues, that is the problem...

Good luck

If you want us to order the headphone for you and recable it that is no problem. That will allow you to simply make just 1 payment to us for both the headphones and the V3 cable. If that is something you are interested in simply send Heli@apuresound.com an email telling her you want to have a D2000 recabled with whatever length and termination type V3 cable you would like. Also, please mention that you want us to provide the headphone for you and where you are located and she will provide you a price quote with different options.

We are very friendly and flexible here and our number one goal is to please our customers. We receive international orders on a daily basis and everyone is satisfied.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask. If you need to get a hold of me directly please send me a PM or email me at alex@apuresound.com. I am a bit slower at answering emails/PM than Heli, but you will get an answer.

Thanks,
Alex

I've had FedEx Costum Critical ship my cars and my friend's cars across the Pacific and all over the world... I'm sure a reputable shipping company are trust-worthy and can handle a pair of headphones within a box

For electronics, I'd stick with Priority mail or higher though. Just a hunch I've developed being an extreme pc enthusiast user since '02. I don't know why.

Thank you very much, i take it into account.
Also in this moment, i have a Beyerdynamic DT770pro/80 headphone here (for you) / there (for me) in USA.
if i can't sell it in maximum a month; maybe, i can use it as sample to recable [well the true purpose is to recable my DT990 but i wan't to send it there (because i have to pay more money (>$49) and i need something to listen...), and with the sample, i can use the cable...]. And i can use this cable in the other headphone.

That was not exactly what I meant. Danish post wil only insure parcels to US up to a value of about $200. For this they charge about $30 total. The only other way is to use courier companies like fedex, ups or the like and to ship and insure something like a L3000 with a value of $2500 they charge from Denmark about $250 or more. Even shipping my previous L3000 to a buyer in Germany cost $175. I don't know why it has to be this expensive shipping from Denmark because reverse shipping from almost anywhere in the world is a lot cheaper.

Yea shipping to Denmark is actually very reasonable. Though there are some places I have shipped where even I said wow.
