APureSound: The Ultimate Cable Manufacturer Introduces The V3 Headphone Cable

Funny you should post what you did. I just received a K701 and an HFI-780 both with a V3 re-cabled which by my choice were done with the regular techflex. In hindsight I should have done at least the K701 with Super Nylon! Entirely my fault.
My most recent re-cable (RS-1) got the super nylon treatment. The headphones are much easier to control when handling, without having spin roll or twist them to avoid sharp kinks. Being softer and more comfortable is an extra plus.
I highly recommend the upgrade.

Price depends on length and connector choice. Simply email us at order@apuresound.com or send me a PM and we will provide you a price quote.
On side note I plan on getting the R10 writeup done over the weekend so keep an eye out. This is a story not to be missed. Also, the GS-1000's are sold.
Thanks,
Alex

I have gotten a few PM's about wooden based Grado headphones.
They are all recabled in house. We open up the headphones professionally here in house and hard wire our V3 cable straight to the driver then reassemble and seal the driver back into the housing. I hope this clears up any questions anyone may have.
Thanks,
Alex

I love how the regular techflex APS cables are so sturdy and resilient, but am looking at the super nylon for its flexibility and lack of microphonics. I was wondering if super nylon is more or less prone to fraying/damage compared to techflex though, what do you think Alex?

Super Nylon is stronger than the standard techflex sleeving.
