APureSound: The Ultimate Cable Manufacturer Introduces The V3 Headphone Cable

Hmmm, I wonder if I might be getting close to a prize for the most APS cabled headphones - D2000, Edition 9, RS-1, RS-2, HF-1, and THREE HD600 cables (3-4 ft mini, 6 foot 1/4" and 8 foot balanced) = 8 cables + one extension. We did talk once about maybe doing my Proline 2500... Yikes!
I hope you are getting quantity discounts. I would suspect that is a record.
Super Nylon sleeving is softer, lighter, and more flexible than our standard sleeving option...
You forgot to include that the super nylon is not microphonic. IMO well worth it! In hind sight I should have done all of my three re-cables w/ super nylon.
We plan on adding more colors in super nylon in addition to black in the future, but with such a large order needed to have it made we will need to do some research to figure out which color or colors to add otherwise we will just end up with a bunch of nylon and nothing to do with it.

Let me know when you figure it out! I need my hd650 recabled with royal blue. Seriously though.
Thanks

The headphone best recabler I have ever worked with
Over the past transactions I have established a trust worthy relationship with Alex.
The latest transactions involve recabling of a rare, pristine HP1 in V3 cable, with cotton insulation and super nylon sleeves and terminated in Furutech plug, AND a pair of GS1000 in the same cabling configuration.
I also ordered a XLR to TRS adaptor also in V3 cable for my K1000, previously recabled by Alex.
There are enough said about Apuresound so the only thing I want to add is Alex's service is the best I have come cross in this circle, and his headphone recabling comes with both top notch workmanship and sonic performance, all backed by a responsive, customer oriented service level, on top of reliable and fast delivery.
Highly recommended.

True. The Super Nylon has little to no microphonics at all depending on the headphone it is used on.

I do not know about what colors will be added since there is a very large bulk involved to get custom colors ordered. I can do blue for you in techflex no problem, but I do not know if blue will ever be ordered in super nylon.

Thank you for the kind words and I am happy to hear that your order came in. I am sure you will enjoy it over the weekend. Make sure to give them a good burn in period.

I know this thread is for the V3 headphone cable specifically, but I just wanted to give credit where credit is due and say that [AK]Zip is an absolutely amazing talent in his field of cables of all types! Until now I was impressed just at his clearly vast knowledge of headphone cables and interconnects but he has gone one step further in doing something that was just amazing. I wanted some re-servicing done on a pair of interconnects I ordered from another vendor and asked that vendor if he could do the job, and he said no, it would be impossible. Well, [AK]Zip did the impossible and went and did it for me with no problems whatsoever!
Let's just say that my opinion of the other vendor has fallen a few notches while [AK]Zip has astounded me again with his workmanship and abilities - I cannot see any reason why anyone should hesitate to deal with him for anything cable-related - truly, anything. If you need anything done that relates to cables, [AK]Zip is the guy to ask!
No, I am not receiving any compensation for this, I'm just a highly satisfied customer and will continue to support the APureSound business in every way that I can!
Multifilament Nylon Techflex is soft and cloth like, not stiff and scratchy like regular Techflex. It's also a PITA to work with. I give extra brownie points to anyone that works with it successfully.

Where do I exchange brownie points for brownies?
Thanks,
Alex

Can I use those brownie points to have all my techflex replaced with super nylon?
Funny you should post what you did. I just received a K701 and an HFI-780 both with a V3 re-cabled which by my choice were done with the regular techflex. In hindsight I should have done at least the K701 with Super Nylon! Entirely my fault.
