Default What is Todd's Return Policy?

Does anyone know if Todd has a return policy? I wanted to get some Sennheiser HD580's, but if I don't like them, could I return? Thanks

Thanks for answering for me! Yes, I have a 30 day money back guarantee. I do hope there is some expectation of keeping the product if it performs as advertised...

Am I getting 100% of my money back? Or are there any fees at all? Who pays for the shipping back to Todd? Would it be the buyer?

Proved that despite its huge size, the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

Expecting a manufacturer, or a dealer, to pay for your trial an error process, is IMO abusive. The shipping must be your responsibility, if you ask me, both ways, as any online store...
BTW 30 days is more than generous to try any audio article, most of us in 3 days will now if one particular item is suitable for our needs or not, the burn in, will not change dramatically the sonic signature, just tune a little bit this or that caracter in the case of headphones, and in other cases is more like a "brain burn in" than an actual change on the sound.....

The 30 day return policy is all well and good, but what happens to the goods when they get returned? One thing that worries me about this kind of policy is whether goods get sent back and forth, finally ending with a person buying the same headphone (or whatever) in the end. That's what stops me buying from retailers who have this policy!!

Some people aren't all that careful with stuff and my feeling is if the goods do what is advertised, then keep them. This business of 'I don't like the sound of that so I'm returning it' seems a bit open to abuse imo. I've bought headphones before that I haven't particularly liked the sound of, but I didn't return them because I had made the decision to take a chance in the first place.

I know that it's difficult for some people to get to a shop and hear them first but really, people should do their utmost to hear the sound signature before going ahead and ordering goods, just to return them later.

I have seen on these threads - people buying two pairs of headphones, saying that they will return the pair that they don't like. That doesn't sem to be fair to the retailer imo.

Not only headphones, also amps, very expensive amps, and heavy amps that cost a lot of money to be shipped, and some times even imported, and customs fees, etc....and even huge things as full size speakers, I have seen that also...and later on they even claim a shipping refund, gimme a break!!!!!!
And you know what, most of the times the dealer after they return these items, they sell these products as "B stock" or "demos" in which case they loose considerably amount of money, and in some cases the whole profits...

Yes, it's not good for the retailers offering this while customers use the service as a 'test before you buy service.'

Actually, I was wondering what the retailers did with returned goods. I have been rather put off the idea of buying stuff when a retailer accepts returns with no question because of the issue of buyers abusing it. (and the goods) An 'iffy' dealer could rebox/repackage and sell as new - that aspect worries me.

If an honest retailer sells as 'B stock' or 'demos' then I feel happier about it but it's not good for the retailer and could eventually put their costs up.

And believe me, the sad side of that terrible story is that this procedure is becoming widely accepted here in the audiophile community, normal, logic, and as part of the selection and purchasing process of the customers....

My question is then, what are those meetings for, just to drink a couple of beers and talk bull crap the whole day???

People should attend to those local meetings, and listen, and try for themselves. And please do not tell me that you can not form an opinion in a meeting, becasue this is not true, I have formed opinions of many items based in short listening sessions, and after trying them for long ones the opinion had remained the same....
