You have a very fine point re: headband...lol...I have a feeling that if this planet exists 1000 years from now, and grado exists 1000 years from now, they will still use that same headband...Perhaps because you pay more for this one, you can at least feel like it's a better handband???err, maybe not

This can seem very expensive for me because I don't like grado sound.

But for grado fans maybe not.

Actually, I like the Grado sound - and these still are VERY expensive.

Default My timing sucks too

Because your GS1000's haven't arrived yet maybe they haven't even left the factory or whatever yet. If so you could cancel them and get the others. Maybe you could even send them back as soon as you get them. About my bad timing I just bought the Edition 9 headphones. Oh well I will just sell them and then buy the HD800 and the Edition 8. What about the new Grado one? Maybe that as well

I think I might be in the wrong industry; Hedge Funds just aint paying the Head-Fi related bills anymore...
You wouldn't ask that question if someone spends $1700 on a car, would you?

Let's put it in perspective... $1700 on cans is like..oh $150,000 on a car..
when you already have other cars in the 30-45,000 range...

I fear that many of us would be driving a $1700 car if Grado came out with a $150,000 headphone.
