This is a post in a forum that Todd the Vinyl Junkie pays a considerable amount of money to maintain. There is another thread that you can post in that he doesn't pay for, if you'd like, but this is like going into Todd's store and talking. The rules are different.

I for one will be happy to see a pair show up with that labeling "mistake". I think it will add to the collectible value of the headphones. Not that I am getting the phones as collectibles, but it is rather endearing.
In the end, it's the sound that matters.

I paid for FedEx International Priority - you will be provided a tracking number with this option. You won't be provided with real-time updates of the plane's position between Memphis and your local hub's airport though...

It isn't as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be.
I have a "F1" pair that is otherwise wonderful. They sound incredibly good and I think I might enjoy them more than the RS-1. That's a tough can to beat. If you like the Grado sound, order the HF-2. You'll love these.
Todd and John, thank you again for putting this together! I hope there will be a HF-3 some time down the line!

Just received my Head-F1 HF-2
Initial impressions are good. Besides the F1, the cups are perfect. One strange thing is the cable is shorter than I expected, maybe less than 1.5m. Is this normal?

The cable is definitely shorter than the stock Grado cable from what I can tell.

Actually, on measuring it (with a 1m interconnect), I think it's 1.6-1.7m. Definitely on the short side.

Hmm maybe in the end it is how I said it..
1st batch = Head-F1
2nd batch = Head-F2
...
n batch = Head-Fn
Lets see how it is till all of the first batch arrives to the members.

Mine is #44 with the F1. Other than that, these cans are well put together.
No previously noted problems (barring glue comments--but even the glue isn't excessive).
Cheers!
