Welly, both Balanced XLR and RCA Golden Reference cables are included in the G08 Loaner Package. And they both fit nicely inside the Meridian Box.

Oh, and even better for your wallet, Todd has a few used and demo units available for less $$$ also.

Mr. Green was kind enough to allow my name to be added to his list. I should get it sometime next month. I will write a review between my ModWright LLC Pioneer Elite DV-59AVi and the Meridian G08. I wonder if anyone will care to read it.

A whole lot of screws to remove. There is a thin rubber gasket for the top cover, so it reduces any vibrations. Nice.


Yup, the optical drive is indeed an IDE CD-ROM.


Nicely filtered power section.






Dolby Digital? DTS? I guess it's a shared component for the DVD player version?
And what the heck is that goopy orange stuff on the diode in the upper right?


And behold, the "CPU" is an AMD processor.
