Edit: Dave your profile looks like you picked up a pair. Congrats!
Bernie, i didn't just get A pair, i got the only other set ever made, ttbomk. i'm still waiting to receive them. hopefully they get here soon. since they've been modded it'd be interesting to hear them side by side with yours. it'd be great if both of us and both of our pf-1s can make it!

Hi Folks;

I won't know if I can attend or not until Mar 17. My schedule is determined month to month by bidding, and thats when the April results are out. If the meet is full, and I find out I can come, can I bring a long extension cord and listen through a window?

Don't worry about the space. I can handle about 40 mature head-fiers in my home. I had over 60 people comfortably during Christmas parties. I might ask slwiser to be the official bouncer

Oh man, you mean I have to buy new socks for the meet? What if I can come up with two socks without holes that are not the same color. Is that okay?

I just moved to DC from Tampa, FL. There's a bike race in Tampa that Saturday that I'm trying to get down to (I'm a co-organizer), but it's not looking good with work. If I'm in DC on the 19th, I'll come with my MH MAX and modded 325i's.

It'll be nice to meet some local head-fiers in my new city!

I don't know if my doctor will release me by that weekend. We will see. I sure hope I feel like it after having quadruple-bypass surgery two weeks ago Monday.

I might be able to come. I'm not sure what equipment people would be interested in hearing. I do have some interesting vintage headphones.

Steve, hopefully you're already feeling a bit better than when you posted this the other day. it's hard to imagine, barring any complications, that two months out from surgery isn't sufficient time to allow for enough healing to attend a meet. looking fwd to finally meeting you in person.

and speaking of folks in the area, whaddabout Hirsch? has anyone been in touch with him?

I am already breathing better after a walk than before the operation but everything is based on the future and what the doctor recommends. We will have to see what happens and what the recommendations will be.
