The Shot Gun Wedding!
Think of us as innovators of high end audio. You see, we don't have much of a life in the South and those haircovers are the mainstay of our social existence. In fact, if you put one on at just the right angle and look at a Southern female, or male depending upon your preference (animals excluded), that is considered a marriage proposal. So, be sure to check with us on the proper way to wear one so you don't end up in a mess when visiting. Shot gun weddings are still quite popular in this area of the country.
Using hair covers is voluntary but oh what fun we have with them on Saturday nights. In fact, the first one is free but you can buy more for your family at $50 a piece at the door. I can't tell you how these haircovers have transformed my social life and the social lives of others. It's gonna be a rip roaring time in Charlotte Feb 21st with cans and haircovers. We can probably get the local newspaper to cover the event.....with pictures. Wouldn't THAT be something to show your grandchildren.

Man, this is getting very interesting. Maybe I can talk a couple of SF Head-Fiers to drive up. Maybe we could even where the head cover as we drive up ...

Due to popular demand....
OK, due to popular demand, we will be selling the really cheap, about 7 cents cost, bouffant hair covers for $25 each. To justify the extra charge, we will color a logo on it with crayons, to look something like a headphone. It won't really look like a headphone so you will have to use your imagination.
So, post a reply early if you want to get your order guaranteed as we only have 5000 available to us at this time. We figure our total cost will be about $70 so our profit margin looks pretty good, but don't let this information get out to the public. Try not to gum up this website with all your orders coming in at one time.

Sounds to me like you are officer material for the Carolina Audio Society!

We may have a pair at CanFEST for everyone to try and buy. I am awaiting final confirmation and will post when I have it.

Looking forward to hearing the 8's Drew, (hopefully I'll have the Senn 800's long B4 the meet). Just hoping the 8's don't have the same clamping headband as the 9's.

They dont. And in case you did not realize, like I did not for a long time, all of the Ultrasones can be bent so as to release the pressure. Under the top plastic band is metal. You can reshape it. The Ultrasone guys showed me this. Wish I would have known it long ago The Edition 8 and HD800 are going to be my 2 phones of prefference. One open backed sound and one closed.

I might try to make the meet as well. If I go I will bring my L3000 and DHA3000 and maybe the full mod Exemplar 5910.

Audiotailor comes through in flying colors
I just received three beautiful headphone amplifiers from the kind Joseph Lau of Audiotailor for CanFEST 2009. Thank you Joseph.
He is allowing us to demo them at the SHOW. They include the Audiotailor Jade, the Pisces, and the ASL HM1. I have only unpacked them so far. Cosmetically, they are very nice with some very appealing looks. I'll burn them in over the next few days. Also, I'll try to get some pictures and post them shortly. Thank you again Mr. Lau.

The Raffle at CanFEST
OK, I'm not really at liberty to say what items will be donated for the raffle yet, due to the request of certain VERY generous manufacturers. However, I can say that attending CanFEST 2009, just for the raffle items, will be worth the trip. The tickets will be $10 each or 3 for $25.
