Regarding the for sale posting, I am not a moderator so I can't guarantee that it will not be a violation of Head-Fi's posting rules. However, I think it is a harmless, minor violation at worst. I sure don't have any problem with people offering gear for sale at the meet. I think it's a wonderful opportunity to "try before you buy", as wareagle69 says.
On to the meet logistics update:
I made it inside the clubhouse today and met with the managers. The good news is that there are outlets very close to the all of tables. I'd say within 10 feet in every case.
There are 3 round tables, each of which will hold one person's gear only. There are two rectangular tables, each of which will hold 2 people. That's seven spots, and we have eight people bringing sizeable amounts of gear. So, at the moment, we need one more table. I am pretty sure I can borrow a rectangular folding table from work that would handle two more people. (However, if someone has one of these big folding tables and can bring it, please PM me.)
Assuming I can grab that extra table, we can have one more "exhibitor". At the moment, BigEat has dibs on that spot. There will not be enough room for any additional tables, except we can squeeze in one or two solo card tables to handle people coming, like kydsid, with only a couple of pieces. I need that card table or two also... if someone can bring one, please let me know.
So I am officially closing the "exhibitor" admissions at nine, counting BigEat. I'll take a backup for BigEat's spot if someone wants to get on "standby". I am going to consider BigEat as tentative until we can get a confirmation, but yeah that list of gear and its owner are very welcome.
I don't want to over-crowd the facility and ruin the experience for those that have committed already, so I am going to have to refuse any additional admissions. However, feel free to PM me and give me your story if you are desperate to come and maybe we can work something out.
I am going to make this announcement on the first post to avoid any confusion later if people think they can come at the last minute. Thanks to everyone for your understanding and support.

Current Head-Fi threat level is orange. Intelligence indicates a high risk of money being spent, but a specific target has not yet been identified.

pabbi1:
Is it possible to run single-ended headphones on your Bijou? or, do you have an adapter of sorts?
swt61:
did I actually fix your 1/4" jack
orcin:
I was planning a +1 the entire time, but forgot to mention it He's tentative, but if he can make it, I'd like to let him darken the doors...

You couldn't trace the source of the problem. Not a big issue for me, as I don't own any SE headphones.

I'm working on it. I can also bring a at least one shunyata power conditioner and perhaps two Richard Gray Power Company line power conditioners.

Is that headphone somehow related to my much loved Fostex four track?

Ah, but will it make it back to Austin?
The older Fostex T-50 is pretty much the Holy Grail of Orthodynamic headphones, and me want bad!

When is the next Dallas meet?
Hehe, nah, I only have a barely modded Fostex t40 and an Audio Technica ATH-2 that I never got around to modding. I could bring them sometime.... to disappoint everyone.

Well, it looks like the SOHAII boards will ship this week, so make that a 90% probability that it will make it - may not be burned in, as some of 'those' caps are in it, but I'll do what I can. It will be somewhat maxed, but not with any wild tubes... and SE.
Dallas - January - we are awaiting the return of a long missing friend. But, will gladly wait - for him.
