Nice.
I just finished replacing the caps in mine and it sounds like a new amp!
Transistors are next..

I listened to my first tube headphone amp today... the Shanling PH300. Any thoughts on this amp? I enjoyed listening to it and very much like the fact that it has 2 inputs (one for my computer DAC, and one for a cd player).
I've also auditioned the RA-1, Creek OBH-21SE, and a Rega.
I can't wait to hear some of the gear coming to this meet.
|
Don't worry about it, the meet is shaping up to have a lot of really nice equipment already . I'm only bringing my Grado SR225 and E-MU 0404 USB (and some cd's of mine). If anything it will give the other guys more room to work with for their rigs.
Still so very anxious for the 19th to arrive .

Gear I can bring:
Millett MAX
Keces DA-151
Denon D2000
Woody SR-80

I am about 80% sure I can go, two work trips are looming in the future, one is supposed to be the weekend after the meet, and one is sometime between now and then, but either can be changed without notice. I will attempt to work something out, should fate try to keep me away from another meet.
|
Well, a third trip came up that was supposed to be this weekend, but as of today was pushed off until *drumroll please*
The 19th.
So as of now, it's more like 95% that I can't make it. Unless this trip gets rescheduled again and no others take its place... <crosses fingers>
I am sorry I won't be able to see everyone, but I look forward to seeing you all (and hearing your wonderful gear) at another meet.
