Just to update everyone on the headcount, with myself and skylab included, there are 14 slots taken (if intoflatlines joins us).

I will be PMing everyone with further details as the meet nears and Skylab and I iron out the details.

Thanks everyone!

Don't know how I missed this. I think I will be able to attend, but I won't know for a few days. Anyway, if I come I can bring my home desk setup, if anyone is interested:

Asus Tablet; optical output and 160+ Gb of FLAC files
Headroom 2007 portable desktop amp
Stax SRM-252 II and SR-003
Senn HD-25-1 II w HD650 cord
Denon AH-D2000

Regardless, I will bring my recabled AKG 340s and 701s as well as the Beyer 880s since I have to hear the 340's out of the Zana Deux.

I will confirm, one way or the other in a couple of days.

Yeah, Skylab rocks for helping out with this.

I, too, missed the Feb meet as it was a 3 day weekend for me, and I went home to visit family. I'm glad to see so many are interested!

In a couple of days, I will begin updating the first post with a list of who is coming and what equipment they are bringing.

Hey there,
Plan on me bringing my portable rig.
iPod Touch
microshar LOD
Visely hea-1 amp
k400
im716 (bought today for $20)
Super Freq (as an example)
Audio technica 701 (for anyone interested in hearing oldies)
maybe ES7 if my dad doesn't steal them

I will be there, but I won't be needing a spot. Let far better canidates take the stage.

This sucks being the new guy. All I have to bring is one pair of phones and a silly iPhone. Apparently I need to go gear up before the meet.

I listened to my first tube headphone amp today... the Shanling PH300. Any thoughts on this amp? I enjoyed listening to it and very much like the fact that it has 2 inputs (one for my computer DAC, and one for a cd player).

I've also auditioned the RA-1, Creek OBH-21SE, and a Rega.
I can't wait to hear some of the gear coming to this meet.

I noticed the same thing in another thread (btw, I'm an engineer also)

Finished (except for casework) the Millett tonight, so that will be coming too.

I am about 80% sure I can go, two work trips are looming in the future, one is supposed to be the weekend after the meet, and one is sometime between now and then, but either can be changed without notice. I will attempt to work something out, should fate try to keep me away from another meet.

And as of tonight the Zana Deux lives again, so the vibe is good for me to attend.
