This reminds me of something a Siltec rep once said, and it went something like:
"it's not much harder to sell someone a 5000$ cable than it is to sell someone a 100$ cable. I'de much rather sell the 5000$ cable."
Ha, at that price we should all buy a few!
Please tell me i'm not the only one who feels sick looking at that.

I dunno.
For me it's way easier to resist buying a $5000 cable.
I mean, I'm an idiot and therefore I've bought $$$ cables (ICs) in the past, but I'm no complete idiot.

I feel contrary about it.
If someone is rich and buys $4000 power cords he doesn't deserve to be rich and it's totally O.K. that someone else gets his money.
Nordost Valhalla power cord ($3000) is better because you can cut out the conductors from it and feed more components with the Valhalla flavor. You can also cut it shorter which means that you only need 1 Valhalla for the entire system.
I also cut the interconnect, a pair isn't needed then.
But seriously, a 4k power cable?
You could build a whole top end rig for that, for us mere mortals at least.
