how would I wire a cable that converts XLR to RCA?

Maybe a couple of Cardas adaptors will work for you! Cardas Audio

I have exactly that running out of my DAC > Zana. A friend DIYed the cables for me. Not sure if the following helps

"If your balanced rig is European standard then pin 2 is plus, pin 3 minus. Pin 2 goes to left on ZD, and pin 3 to right."

Enjoy! To my tin ears, there is a diff compared with rca>rca.

If you plan to run long cables, then using XLR for the bulk of the run with an JENSEN PC-2XR at the end converting to RCA is likely the best way avoid picking up interference. Cheaply though an XLR/RCA adapter is the simplest solution.

I had the Lavry with XLR to RCA adapters... they worked great. No need to build 'em yourself.

Bluejeans cable does custom stuff if you email them, they're usually got some good pricing.

I just got a set of cables for the lavry from Agile_one...im using it now to test out the Lavry between my DAC. I can get a pic of it later tonight, just atm my batteries are charging.

Its a nice cable, however i do not know where its from, who made it or anything...its Neutrik plugs, the cable is from Canare. It might be a custom job...very well made though.

Just make sure when you do get the cable you open up the lavry and change the jumpers to make pin 2 hot. I had to write Agile and ask cause i didnt know. Technically it doesnt matter, however the lavry isnt mine so im taking extra special care not to mess it up in anyway hehe.
