Wich RCA connector for Stax SRM-006t amplifier < 1m < 100$ or it is possible without ?
Hello,
I would firstly like to apologize for my bad English !
So. I would like to connect my M-Audio Firewire Audiophile card (pending to buy a good DAC) to my Stax SRM 0006t amp. What short connector (less than 1 meter) would you advise me for under $ 100 ?
Or I thought of something unusual:
Would not it be better to directly connect the card to the amp by a connector male/male of this kind ?
But for that, this must be the same distance between the left and right output on the card and the amp. So someone whit the SRM-006t amp could mesure the distance between right and left (from the center of output cercles)
Thanks in advance (if you succed to understand me XD)

I highly recommend the Signal Cable Silver Resolution.
Cause you certainly want some cable between the two RCA connectors, and not struggle with a short RCA<->RCA plug you link to.

Thank you for your advice, but it does not bother me a struggle whit a double male/male connector. I do not have much space.
And better is the sound, better happy I am.

Oh great, you have a 007t amp.
I think it's the same case.
Oh please ! Can you measure the spacing ?

The spacing between the center of the right and left connectors are exactly 20mm.

EXCELLENT !!!!
That's exactly my spacing.
Thank you very much !
Edit: Just, you do not think there is risk of disturbance by electromagnetism? Amp that disrupts the conversion of the signal in my sound card? But I believe that my sound card is well insulated.

I doubt it, even if its possible.
Some of us stack CD player, DAC's, amplifiers, .. on top of each other without any disturbance (audible at least). Not make in here have the components hooked up this way though, so who knows.
