Do you mean plug size? Standard mini plug is 3.5mm. Next size down is 2.5mm. I've never heard of a 2mm connector.

There are 3.5mm to 2.5mm cables.

There is that one connector that was commonly used on phones until recently (not 2.5mm is the trend for the better). I do not know what size it is, but someone else will.

Monoprice.com, ebay, or amazon. Type 2.5mm to 3.5mm in the searches.

I wouldn't get a cheap one, though. All my friends use these, and they go through like 2 a month.

I'd probably see if you could get a DIY-er to make you one.

Many cell phones that play MP3's have a 2.5 stereo out and require an adapter....Google search earbud cellphone adapter.

Your headphones with 3.5 mm plug connects to the iPod on top, to the headphone connector.
You don't need any adapter.

The iPod have a headphone stereo connector, for a 3.5 mm TRS plug.
Telephones usually have a connector for 2.5 mm TRS plugs, some of the new multimedia models now have a 3.5 mm connector.
And your phones, what connector do they have?
Small, 2.5 mm, or larger, 3.5 mm?
And do you have a cable at all?
Or do you need an extension?

I do some Googling (something you should do before starting new threads asking old questions!).
Your phones, the Senn PXC 450 are "noise-cancelling" phones, and comes with 3.5 mm connector.
So they should fit straight into your iPod's headphone connector.
Your phones also came with an adapter from 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm, to fit into the headphone connector of full-size amplifiers.
Did you take this off?
