Sub-$50 mic available in Canada?

I'm looking for a decent mic that's < $50 that I can use with my laptop to do some simple recordings on. Something that's portable would be nice, but it's not a dealbreaker.

This will only work if your laptop has a microphone input. Check your local computer stores / supermarkets for microphones, since these are the types that will work. Stuff from Logitech, Labtec, etc. shouldn't be too bad.

Yeah, it has a mic input, but I don't know which one to buy.

The mic on my Plantronics headset is ass too, which is why I'm asking for suggestions here.
