Default Split RCA out

After getting back a response from headroom about the micro i've decided that ineed to find a way to split my RCA out. You see my source has only one RCA out but it needs to go to my speakers and to the amp. So, my question is how am i suppose to do that? what cables or hardware device do i need? Thanks

I am not clear as to why your source would hook directly up to your speakers, but if you want to share a single RCA, you need a splitter. Headroom sells them: http://www.headphone.com/products/ad...-splitters.php . Local audio stores often sell them as well.

I bought the splitters available at Meier Audio and they work fine. If you want to spend a bit more, get the Vampire's available at HeadRoom.

Just a thought, wouldn't splitting the signal from an rca cut the current in half?

It should be OK as long as only one amp is on at a time.
