Sony MDR NC60 cord?

So my Ebayed Sony MDR NC60s came in yesterday and I haven't even gotten a chance to use them. The cord that came with them was some generic 2 ended made in china plug, not a cord made by sony. Now, these headphones are supposed to use detachable plugs but the damn thing wont even fit into the jack. It's like the rubber around the plug is being blocked from entering far enough into the reserve of the jack.

So the question is, just what cord will be thin enough to fit into the jack? Im sure the plug is 3.5mm.
