Default px100 pad replacement question

hey guys, I need help picking replacement pads for my px100s, I don't want to get the same ones but something a bit more bulkier and comfy. I heard the HD414 pads will work. Do any other fit? The grado bowl pads would be nice but they don't look like they would fit but I have no clue.

Any suggestions? I know they're cheap headphones but I like everything about them except for how small and uncomfy they feel on my ears. thanks..

The HD414 pads will fit well and are definitely more comfortable than the stock PX-100 pads (ear-fisters, anyone?).

Cheers for the heads up!

I lost my PX100 earpads a while back while back and swapped them with the pads from my PX200s. YUK. It was like the soundstage had caved in on me and the bass went completely anemic.

I'll grab some 414 pads as replacements, cheers

A sample photo of my old PX-100 with the yellow pads. I subsequently quarter-modded the pads but did not take any photos.

The PX200s probably share the same drivers but are closed backed... there is a horseshoe shape piece of plastic at the back of the drivers. On the PX100s, that is replaced by foam. On the PX200s, you have leatherette type earpads designed to block external noise from entering, on the PX100s you have breathable foam earpads which sit on top of the ear, allowing for external noise to penetrate.

I'd assume that to 'convert' a PX200 to a PX100 you'd need to remove the plastic behind the drivers and fit breathable earpads.
