Default PS power punch cord- any good?

$65 for 2M. The price is right, how well does it perform?

I've ordered it. I'll post my impressions when it arrives.

Got the 1.5 M Power punch cord (cost $59). Cleans up the sound nicely, most dramatically eliminating the glare in my Azur 640C that had been pissing me off. Highs are a little less smeared too.

It works! I wasn't expecting miracles for $59, but it does offer a "noticable improvement" as PS Audio claims.

Thanks Murdoch!

Is the cable flexible?

PS Audio power cords are rather inflexible. Think big black stiff...well, you get it!

The Punch cord is only 12 gauge, but it is encased in quite a bit of shielding. So yes, its kind of stiff. That said, it easily bent to a rounded curve over the edge of the table my rig is on. Its a little more than a 90 degree angle.

BTW, I'm increasingly impressed by the improvement of the sound with this cable. There is undoubtedly increased detail in the music. This was the best $59 I've spent in a while!
