An inexpensive alternative would be Volex shielded SJT AWG 14x3. Should be about $10 each. You would have to open your gear to see how it would be attached. If you decide to replace the cable you may want to add a magnet to eliminate any RFI.
Power cord adapters? How do I easily upgrade an old power cable? Solder?
