Default Power cord adapters? How do I easily upgrade an old power cable? Solder?

I have a Sony 1000ESD Pre, a Sony TAD-N110, and a SRD-7 that all could use a grounded, OCC copper power cord. How? Do I have to learn to solder lol?

An inexpensive alternative would be Volex shielded SJT AWG 14x3. Should be about $10 each. You would have to open your gear to see how it would be attached. If you decide to replace the cable you may want to add a magnet to eliminate any RFI.
