Default Pairing Speakers for Woo Audio WA5

Hi All,

I purchased a Woo Audio WA5 a while back. Also upgraded a few parts and tubes. Though I usually use it as a headphone amp, once in a blue moon I'd have it drive my speakers, which I built from scratch following a Frugal Horn plan. (http://homepage.mac.com/tlinespeaker...es/Sachico.gif) The speaker uses fostex FE206e. It sounds pretty darn good for a first attempt and limited woodworking skill.

Good as it may be, it's enormous in size, 6ft+ and with some extra pocket change (~$1200), I'm looking for something smaller and better.

Any suggestions?

If you're willing to search like a crazy person for a long while, you should look into the Moth Cicada. Long out of production, and very awesome.

Cain and Cain make some excellent speakers as well, if you want MUCH smaller look at the Noogi, otherwise the Abby is the way to go.

How about Klipsch speakers?
They are very efficient and would easily be driven with your amp.
