headphone case for AD900?
Anyone know of any headphone cases that would fit the AD900?
I hop between two cities every 3 or so months. Just bought the AD900 a couple of weeks ago. Looking into protecting these cans while in transit.
I've been hard pressed to find anything so far.

yes but probably won't do much to protect the cans from much external pressure

Try to hunt down the flight case that comes with the W5000. They should fit any AT headphone perfectly.

They look big enough to be a stand-alone bag

wat do you mean by external damage? u expecting to stomp on it? its a hard case shaped to keep a cap in form. also if the w5000 case is too big for u then wat exactly are you looking for? i would think the w5000 case is ideal.
maybe u could buy a halliburton case and fit it in there. itll have custom foam in it and comes in different sizes. anyway good luck.

l'd imagine that if i chucked them in checked-in luggage at the airport, they'd get a good throwing around, bumping other bags, etc. during transit.
I was hoping for something along the lines of these: AudioCubes.com - Audio-Technica AT-HPP5 Headphone Case - AT-HPP5 -, but i don't think they will fit the AD900s.
where would i even buy the w5000 case by itself?

yeah. my cap case is better protection than that and it fits a full size headphone. so it is prolly along the lines of what you want.

yeah. i use the soft bag my dj headphones came with for the cable n everything fits nicely into the case. my d7000 has no scratches watsoever. i dont have that exact model of cap case. i have the single cap case. basically the same tho.

Oh! Sorry I totally misread your first post. I thought you meant baseball cap, not cap case. I didn't know such a thing existed!
You reckon it will fit the ad900?

yeah, the ah-d7000s are fairly large. so im positive it will fit the ad900 or any other full size headphone other than the JVC HP-DX500/1000. i suggest the single cap case and using some sort of soft bag to keep the plug and cables from hitting the headphone.
it fits great.
