Default Headphile Senn V2 BlackSilver + HD650's

I had these before and it was too thin and bright but my amp was not nearly as warm and smooth as the one I'm using now. I am considering getting another V2 for my 650's. I'm using it now with an MG Head OTL. My concern is an all silver cable will not have the same warmth and midbass of a copper cable and I'll be let down, finding it to be too thin. Any opinions? Thanks.

My case was somewhat different. Comming from Grado I found the HD600 lacking in the treble department, so I wanted something to open up the highs. I got the Senn V2 and is sure helped a lot. Of course my home amps are tube amps and my current portable The Hornet "M" is IMO a warm amp. Good luck.
