The Minis come with a short loopback cable. The amp plugs into the Minis via bananas. The loopback then takes that connection point and routes it to the woofers. And yeah, the woofers' amps are actually plugged into the wall via standard, provided power cables.

There are many more connection points on these speakers, but I've never set them up any differently... I'm not exactly savvy to the biwiring and other voodoo.

I've had my mini's for nearly a year and love them, though, their new Line Source speakers have my eye (but my wife threatened to leave me over 7' tall speakers). They are a good choice and hard to beat for the money. There are a couple of nice pair on the AV123 Forum in the FS section going for nearly half price right now BTW.
