Just to edit...i swapped tubes again and replayed the same cd. Im happy to report that most of the muddiness i was hearing was frommy tube selection and the song itself.
I noticed that another song on Stone Temple Purple cd (interstate lovesong) came out clear and crisp.
I really wish the 650s had a more bright sound for cymbal crashes...it sometimes seems a tad to dark for cymbals. I noticed this with all 650s. Its signature is just to dark to reproduce a clean crash.
Really does reproduce guitars strings nicely. Acoustic music sounds very nice and dreamy =)
