Default DIY Headphone cable HD650s

I tried to build a set of headphone cables for AKG271s once. I used silver coated copper wire but made the mistake of running the techflex all the way to the mini-din at the headphones. It was so microphonic you had to wear a neck brace!.

I would like to try to build headphone cable for my HD650's but can't find a thread with instructions, material, connector part number, etc. Does one exist?

Don't use techflex. Use nylon multifilament (wirecare.com). It's really soft and is just what you need. I can teach you how to make an hd650 cable, just let me know what you're after and send me a PM.
