DiMarzio Big Red Headphone extension cable mini review
Hi everybody:
I was lucky to pick up a used DiMarzio Big Red Headphone Extension cable and here are my thoughts...
Build Quality:
Holy moly...you could pump water through this thing...talk about thick and the terminations (1 female 1/4" to 1/4" male) are freakin huge. Top notch and study build quality for sure! A sexy cable (if there can be such a thing).
Sound Quality:
I liked my Grado 15' cable, but noticed an increased level of grainyness when I used it so I started looking for an upgrade and settled on the DiMarzio cable as Headroom highly recommended it. And boy where they right. I can give this the highest compliment of any extension cable...it sounds like it's not there. It sounds like I've just plugged my headphones directly into my amp.
I would highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for an extension cable for their headphones.
