Did you know that if a burnt-in cable was unused for, like, month, it burns-out and must be re-burned-in?

Nope, but it's close. Unfortunately it's not in English, so the link will be useless.
Also, the whole system which was burned-in for classical music, will be spoiled and trashed if some rap played through it.
If you put on Vanilla Ice thats probably true. Every system loves to have some
Hmmm...dunno about that. Or if this applies, but I didn't use my Ety ER-4's for almost two years, and they sounded as good as the last time I used them. I call ******** on this suspect, untranslatable foreign conspiracy...
I got brighter tone by brushing my teeth. It's very difficult to A/B it though, as chips tend not to mash well with paste in between listening and brushing sessions.

Graham slee has written (or at least heavily implied) that burn in is something that needs to be kept on top of as it where, otherwise as the op says, the item requires re-burning in.
On his website somewhere

There are those who treat music as a convenience.
And then there are those who recognize it as an art.

There's also list of different solders. Some have that audiophile sound, with a lot of details, while others with more musical, relaxing sound sig.
A guy wrote that sometime his tried different kind of solder and could not enjoy his music anymore, until he resoldered the cable with another kind of proven solder.

Are you going to do anything in this thread except give us regurgitated audiofoolery with no link to the original material where these claims come from and with absolutely no elaboration of the context of these claims?
Sometimes this cable burn issue for that matter most(not all) seems a ploy for manufacturers to keep their wares sold long enough that most people just flat out don't return them. Could be it's a scientific formula that I don't comprehend. In the meantime I enjoy my SQ just fine.
