Default Clou Red Impressions

Bought 'em from Lextek - they arrived today. I have just given them brief audition. VERY quick preliminary thoughts:

1) Those of you who still doubt cables can change the sound all I can say is that I immediately noticed a difference (w/ HD600s).

2) Sound is more "forward" and detailed (using a Carda HA-1). It's possible I think it's more detailed because of point #3. The Senns are already pretty detailed so maybe I should just call it "crisper".

3) Many have commented on increased bass - in fact that is why I got them, but... bass *may* be slightly increased but I found the largest change to be at the top end. They could even be called bright. For some, this could be the perfect match with the HD600s. On some selections I really liked it, others were fatiguing.

I guess I need to go back to my listening now but I thought I would share a little.

Cheers!

I concur. Both extremes of the frequency spectrum are extended. Good point.

Silver plated copper can be blamed for that, and the possible fatigue you get.
