Can i remove the earphones' noise-cancelling unit?
I posted this in the IEM section but this one seems more appropriate, didn't see it before...
Model: Sony MDRNC22 earphones
Is it possible to remove the unit, so that the earphones can be used without the noise-cancelling block on the wire (which is unnecessarily bulky when noise-cacelling is off)?
[Yes, it seems silly, but this is what I'd like to do, even if it has to be a permanent change rather than an interchangeable thing... ]
I assume I can just connect the in/out wires of the unit directly and the headphones will work, but what's the neatest way to do this?
Any advice much appreciated, and I know it'll be helpful - this forum was invaluable when i bought my first earphones recently.
