Cable upgrade for Goldring DR100

First post, so if this ain't in the right area, please advise.

Recently bought a set of Goldring DR100's for my iPod, which are just brilliant. Trouble is, I don't really like carrying 3 metres of cable around in my pocket, so I'm looking to change the cable.

Spotted this over at superfi, which would be what I need seeing as its half the length of the current cable.
Wondering if anyone can give me an opinion on this cable or any others on the market. On a tight budget (why I bought the DR100's anyway).
