Paradigm just released a new version of the Studio line. Those could be the old version that the store is trying to get rid of.

The old version is still really nice though.

I think the new ones upgraded the tweeter or something.

hey when you wire up these speakers what type of cable do you use? I have the normal speaker wire that you cut the plastic back and twist to insert to the speakers but it doesnt look like that would work with those speakes or am i wrong?

Regular speaker wire or banana plugs will work.

My dad has a pair of older Paradigm Reference Studio 60s. The new Studio 100 speakers should be more than sufficient for a budget/mid-fi system. They are universally well-reviewed and a tremendous bargain in Canada and even in international markets versus the competition.
