Default Want a new mp3 player-FLAC/APE support

I am looking to get a new mp3 player.

4G or 8G.
Decent battery time.
Recording feature is a must.
Support FLAC/APE

It seems only a few Chinese mp3 players support both FLAC/APE. How are those ?

Thanks

The Meizu M6 SL fits just about all your needs. The most recent firmware added APE 3.95 to 3.99. And yes, the Meizu is Chinese based, and is the only Chinese DAP I'm familiar with.

if you want to go hardcore, try the Cowon A2/A3, but that may be overkill for your needs.

Agreed to the above and add Teclast T39 to your wishlist. No APE support but full AAC (not m4a!) playback - I don't distinguish VBR 500 from lossless while saving much space.
