Default Upgrade amp and interconnects

I plan to upgrade my rig from

Iaudio 7 4gb <- Pa2v2 <- Sr80

to

Iaudio 7 8gb <-Tomahawk <- Sr225

Now I'm a little less grounded on the tomahawk upgrade since they're like almost $300 I believe. I wanna know if there's an upgrade for the Pa2v2 with a similar sound signature or best for Grado's that's not way past the Pa2v2 in price

And I'm wondering about interconnects, are there ones at about 3 feet that makes a difference in sound as appose to my Radioshack gold series?

I'll takes suggestions for a different mp3 upgrade, but I'm pretty solid with getting the Sr225

Look through the amps for sale section, you will pick up a used, well cared for and fully burnt in Tomahawk from anything between $220-$250. It's a great little amp, and the iAudio player is supposed to be a nice bit of kit as well- i wouldn't mind listening to one of these one day myself.

That's an easy flat no.

iAudio 7 doesn't need an amp.
