stuge - me too!!! I just discovered a simple way round the lack of gapless facility. I'll just rip all my gapless albums as one track, and hey presto - gapless playback. I really wanted the 16GB but couldn't consider it (seriously) without gapless. As I don't have a heap of gapless albums to rip, it will be easy to do, and then I kind of get my own 'version' of gapless. I won't be able to skip tracks of course, but that doesn't matter as I tend to listen to gapless albums in their entirety anyway. Woohoo, I love Sony! Big kisses to them all

Soozie, you could always rip them both ways (individual tracks, one track). so that you can select a single if you don't want to listen to thentire album (you probably already thought of this though).

The dock for this DAP is WAAAY to expensive, even with it adding the recording capabilities. Will it work with the old dock by chance?

anyone would comment the SQ of this A820? any specs yet? will it remain the sames as A81x series or better? i'm not too concern about the video, although i do like bigger screen.

i really like to get a Sony A2DP DAP. the fact is my A816 is a Valentine gift from my gal 6 days ago. if i put this V-gift for sales too soon i'll be in deep trouble

What dock, what dap, where are you seeing prices???

I just checked SonyStyle, there's no pricing for the new models and no option to pre-order either

VRC-NW10, did a search and it cost $180+, capable of recording video on A820, as well as video out

It looks pretty good to me. I kind of like the curved sides of the A818 though a bit better.
Anyone want to buy an A818??

Nice! I do wished it had the rounded buttons(back and option) of the 818 though, those look like they might be harder to hit with big fingers- not that thats going to stop me from buying it anyways I also hope they use the same cirrus logic chipset.

looks like the walkman division cooperation with the cellphone division has finaly paid off for the dedicated dap, it looks good, still has that damn WM-Port, but sony will be sony, if it syncs and can be loaded trough bluetooth, then i can live with it, but if the BT is for audio streaming only, i dont feel like paying 35 bucks for a new cable if it breaks,
