Shure SE530 compatible tips - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio

Hi,

I recently purchased some Shure SE530's. They sound amazing but I have some issues getting them to seal 100%. The only tips that seal at all are the large black foamies. And that's after much trouble getting them in properly.

I'm wondering whether or not they are larger tips on the market from other manufacturers that will fit. The only other tips I have found that are large and may fit are the ETYMOTIC ER6I-14C. Has anyone tried these before?

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yeah I use ety tips, flange and foams with my 530's as the shure supplied foams are less than useless for my ears.

Only tried ety's though, perhaps complys would be suitable for the shures?

How about getting custom tips? They are a little pricey (over a hundred bucks if you include the price of getting molds), but the seal will be perfect.
