Okay so I deleted Head-Fi from my bookmarks because i'm already getting upgraditus(sp)?

I ordered a black 8GB 2nd gen Nano + black Core Case + Shure E500 IEMS

Some on here said I need an amp, some said you don't. I currently use 192 VBR and except for a 'lil white noise (which I can fix with the included level thingy) it sounds unbelievable.

Am I missing something? I mean will a Tomahawk make everything punchier and cleaner (worth $300 and the BULK) since i'm looking for a portable rig.

I ordered some of those new Shure black foamies too

One thing I've noticed is you may never get that "FULL" sound you get when you throw in a CD into your 5.1 home setup. To me the iems provide me with every little detail and is more intimate. But the speakers (or car speakers) are for that blast it subwoofer need.

So anyway Im blabbering now but I wish people would quit saying why use $500 E500S on a nano? Why can't I just focus on the music? Isn't that the real love here?

oh same here. Before I came to headfi, I only have a cheap Chinese DAP and a $20 headphone. Then, when I hang around here a while, I upgraded to Ipod nano 2G and an ER6i. Later on, I upgraded to ZVM and bought a JBL220. Just last week, I bought a Zune and a pair of Im716. Now, I am thinking of upgrade to ER4p or E4c. I think I am having a very serious case of upgraditis.

yep. whats the cure for this? actually now that I can really enjoy my music I have been obsessively buying albums from amazon! MAKE IT STOP!
