At least you have an Ego large enough to consider yourself majority. I actually enjoy the fact that you choose to attack me and not my arguments. It basically proves I am correct in what I am saying since you're not actually disputing it but trying to insult me. I have no way to count how many people would care if I disappear from the face of the planet but I would say neither do you for yourself. Then again it does appear you prefer to argue based on whatever you feel like without having any facts backing up whatever it is you say.

So lets assume your Iphone / Itouch / IGod is broken...
You lose a PDA, DMP and Cellphone in one. Knowing Apple is quite retarded about repairs ( rerember the battery-incident? ) you're....yes...fecked.

Again this is a silly notion that apple is any different about repairs from other manufactures. My personal experience with apple has been great so far. They replaced my almost dead macbook battery for free. I washed my iPod Nano in my jeans at one point and it started behaving weirdly. Brought it to apple store and said it 'it broke' I omitted 'washed in the washing machine' part naturally. They inspected it and replaced it. So I have no problems with apple warranty by your standard any large company is 'fecked'. Apple's track record is about the same as any large electronics maker. Possibly a little better.
Also remember to friggin respect everyones PERSONAL CHOICE!
Everyone can do whatever they like on the internet personal choice is always respected. I didn't say any one owning a P2 is non-human I simply stated my reasons why I think iPhone or the touch is a better device.
Why do peeps buy a Mini Cooper Sport convertible when they can buy a Volvo C30 for less money and have the same confort ... etc?...
Because Mini Cooper is a BMW while a Volvo is a Ford Seriously though I do not like either make

back to the thread, i just wanted to know how the use of bluetooth to connecto to the phone affects the battery life of the player,
When I read about that in the update log the first thing that sprung to mind was that it'd kill the battery life... if no P2 user here can answer the question I'll ask some of our DAPreview members...

I have one, I can run a test for you guys if you want me too and cannot find any info elsewhere, I will test by playing all my music with headphones connected at half volume with bluetooth off, and then with it on.
As much as he pisses everyone off including me, don't feed him, and just ignore his posts, no matter how much he irks you, if we don't reply he will have nothing to say. I feel for you abi mods.

whenever you can get the results to us that'll be fantastic dude, and you're spot on... if you happen to get a phone call during the test then that'll add an authentic element to it too
The P2 bluetooth thing isn't really useful unless you use a bluetooth headset that has a microphone built in. Otherwise you'll have to talk into the P2, which just looks plain stupid. Wish they'd make a remote shirt-clipon thing.
Anyways, I've got a bluetooth headset with a microphone, and that does save on output power to the headphone jack since it's not used, so the battery usually lasts for about 20-25 hours with Bluetooth enabled. Of course, the headset has it's own amp and everything and also needs charging, so what's the point of the comparison for real.
As a point to the discussion about apple versus samsung; most people buy the apple due to sexy looks and sweet design, -that is subjective features. There are reviews in favour of both the apple and the samsung players, and no definitive answer to this silly question.
I have the P2, and I think it's a fine player. It weighs in at only 60% of the touch, and it works seamlessly with everything ealse I've got of audio and computer gear.
The best part is of course the bluetooth playback in the cars that my company uses ! Trumps the touch bigtime for me. Doesn't matter what car I'm in, and when I'm out of it I just switch on my headset.
