Are you guys noticing stereo crosstalk on the P2 ? I can't decide what I think of the sound on the P2... actually concidering selling it due to this.

All-in-all, I'd say thats a pretty respectable showing.
My initial expectations were that the bluetooth would kill the battery life at a much faster pace... seems this implementation on Samsung's part is very decent.

With 16ohm headphones the YP-P2 has below average crosstalk performance.

I apologize for feeding the iSheep iTroll, but he made an error (one out of many) in one of his other posts (I'll have to look back to find it specifically).
sigsegv0x0B claimed that the Bluetooth file transfer was SLOW at around 20-30 kB/s or something along those lines. I must correct you because Bluetooth 2.0 (which the P2 uses) has a sampling bandwidth of 3 MBit/s with a practical data transfer of 2.1 Mbit/s (or roughly 256 KiB/s).
That is all.
Edit: I found his posting over on the ABi forums in December, 2007 where he said the following about Bluetooth:

There are other ways to use bluetooth but none of the useful at this time for YP-P2 except headphones. For example you have tried to transfer files over bluetooths' amazing speed for 30k/sec? You will spend exactly 2.2 minutes transferring a 4mb file. Does YP-P2 have a phone book? Calender with appointments? Task list? It has a calendar without ability to actually set appointments. So BT at this time is either for headphones or for VERY SLOW FILE transfers. Hence it's a useless novelty.

Notice the highlighted part of the quote which shows he is slightly behind the times reading up on Bluetooth.

Staying on topic, I do have to say that the Bluewave update makes my P2 the best DAP I have ever had!
Rock on Samsung! Can't wait for the next two!

The difference between us is simple indeed. You read specifications on paper thinking that performance is guaranteed and I actually use the device and try it. The difference between having your head in the clouds versus actually doing it and reporting.
I unfortunately had the actual device for a while and used it with my (Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR) computer. If you think you can achieve anything *CLOSE* to theoretical claimed speed for BT2 (i'm not even talking EDR here) with YP-P2 you will be due for a pleasant surprise. I won't spoil it for you so get the device yourself and try to see how fast your OBEX transfers go.
What other errors of mine do you feel the need to correct?

Did that. Got a pretty quick transfer between my desktop and P2. I don't see the need to be tranferring my entire music collection to the other guy, so about a minute for a song was acceptable.
Sure you didn't get a P2 with a slightly defective Bluetooth chip in it?
And to use your arguement, the iPod Touch also looks nice on the whitesheets you've been posting, but it's quite different in actuality eh? Haha! Just playing. It's all subjective in the end.

2nd Bluewave is nearly upon us!!!! Check out this video:
P2Éý¼¶Ó¢ÎİæÊÓƵ_Ȧ×ÓÊÓƵ_ÐÂÀËȦ×Ó_ÐÂÀËÍø
Improved touch system, GAMES!, ability to delete files, cover flow type view of albums, utilises the touch system more better than previous versions, now I hope they release the fw.

Hahaha! Nice find! The new firmware looks great! I especially love what they did with the music browsing, picture and video interface.
Plus the finger gestures to do stuff isn't bad either! Looks like lots of great tiny things that I thought were already great were made better.
This is how a company should treat its customers! If all this is in the coming update, I really can't wait for the 3rd Bluewave! I'm definitely not regretting getting my P2 now.
On a slight tangent, since all I have is my desktop's 2.0EDR to Bluetooth file between, I haven't played with file transfer between two P2s. But this video looks like it's relatively quick and snappy with the recent firmware update (about 20 seconds or so)!
YouTube - Samsung YP-P2 Bluetooth file transfer is here!!! Part 2
I will say to appease sigsegv0x0B (I know you can't resist commenting, come on, you know you want to) that the file size isn't known, but whatever. If you can't sit around for 20 seconds, then you definitely have issues.

Pathetic, isn't it? He doesnt even have a horse in the race anymore, yet he feels he must stick around and constantly remind you P2 fans what a substandard (not really!) DAP it is.
sigsegv0x0B, just let them be, let them wallow in their supposed ignorance and enjoy the P2, will ya?
