Actually that's exactly what happens on anythingbutipod. Pretty much any thread with someone asking about a dap instead of an ipod has everyone on the forum replying the first reason to throw away the ipod is because of it's poor sound quality.
Even when someone asks for certain features where iPod would make the best choice people on the forum steer the person away from the ipod. Even if that device will CLEARLY not be as convenient at the tasks the person requested.
Call me crazy; but when a person signs onto a site called "Anything But iPod", creates a thread asking for DAP recommendations stating he does not want an iPod, is it at all possible that maybe he does not want an iPod? Wouldn't that make your recommendation that he get an iPod undesired, irrelevant, and unwarranted?
Instead of taking a hint when this fact was brought to your attention, you decided to attack members and get into arguments with the staff, resulting in the closure of at least two threads.
The problem here is not ABi and its staff. The problem here is you. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can avoid making a complete ass of yourself on high-profile forums like Head-Fi.

you know, ive been reading this stuff for quite a long time, but then this guy actually gave me a chance to actually write something down there and reply.
im not saying itouch is bad or nething, i personally am (and still) deciding to go either itouch or ypp2. but when something goes out of hand, aka...sigsegv0x08... tats when u gotta take a step back and look at urself.

2. i personally use a mac, i personally have an ipod nano 2nd gen, and wait... lemme get one thing straight... IPOD NANO 2ND GEN SUCKS. MOD EDIT

Interesting that you're saying that you make more money then me and yet whine about iPhone being expensive. Oh wait.. you're in norway? That means you don't have easy access to an iPhone.... And most likely have to pay jacked up prices to get one. Then again I recall electronics are far more expensive in europe then in Canada or USA. There is justice in the world indeed.
Oh my, its better than wmp11. Too bad noone has made some system to allow adding music files without software at all. Oh well
iTunes works well for managing music I prefer it to manually dragging folders around.

UMPC how useless! Internet tables even more useless. Truely hacks to a problem iphone solves. When I can fit an UMPC or an internet tablet in my pocket give me a call. Or not. Why would I want to suffer the horror that is Windows Tablet Edition versus iPhones super click and convenient interface? Even the smallest UMPC is enough of a brick to hit ppl over the head with! In addition to all that you STILL have to carry a phone around! If I am silly enough to consider a UMPC or an internet tablet I will hit myself over the head until I get some sense and get a ultra-portable laptop.
You might be a masochist but that doesn't apply to others.

Also you seem to assume a lot of things without actually knowing hard numbers behind it. Which indicates whatever you say is basically purely by 'mood of the moment' without any actual facts behind it. Even that statement itself is useless because it probably doesn't into account the incredibly expensive cost of living in Norway comparing to North America.

Like I said if a person asked for a way to get home I would recommend the best way to do it. It is funny that the fact it's an iPod enrages the ABI people like religious fanatics.

I don't care about making an ass of myself. I will say however I see things. It is interesting that ABI moderators are coming here to defend ABI (DKFT, ZenChick, Captain Ødegård) and are finding varying ways of insulting me.

I reply to posts I feel need a reply. I guess which ever post you made didn't seem to me like something I needed to reply to.
Since you're not willing to admit it i'll explain it to you
The first 7 posts of this thread was about the upgraded bluetooth abilities for the p2, not once was a comparison made between the P2 and the iphone/ipod touch. Your first post in this thread was number 8, which was when you stepped in warbling about the iphone.
Post #24 suggested an p2 vs iphone thread to keep this thread on topic as it became derailed thanks to your intervention as mentioned above.
Post #26 was you admitting that you get upset whenever a comparison is made between the p2 and the iphone, which was never made in this thread before you came in
I then asked you to point out where such a comparison was made in this thread before you stepped in, and here is where we are now
hopefully this post is something worth replying to
