Hi, please can someone tell me if the Kenwood HD10GB7 has an attachment to put a lanyard on? I can't see one in any of the pictures and it doesn't mention it anywhere. I want to buy one right now but like to wear my players round my neck when I'm out so i wanted to check if its possible to attach a lanyard. Thank you in advance
Yes it does, at the back of the unit. Mine arrived today, will post impressions later...
Thank you. I have a Sony NW-S706, sound signature similar to the NW-HD5 so i'd be very interested in hearing your views on the Kenwood compared to the HD5, I also have the E500s so i could get a good idea of the sound as you're using almost the same stuff. Would also be interested to know what the hiss is like, i can live with a bit if hiss but not if it's too much. I read that the sensitivity of the headhones can make the hiss worse
I've only used the HD10GB7 with the Tomahawk so far, and there's noticeably more detail using the 'Supreme' option, but with 'Normal' sound and the volume at 50% (15/30). Sounded amazing through my PK1s with really good separation. No hiss, but I haven't tried them unamped yet, will do that later.
Here's a pic of the lanyard attachment:
I've updated the firmware, but haven't figured out how to diaply album art yet. There's more pics in the portable pics thread.

I've had the E500 previously. It hissed a bit in quite environments (home, at night), while I couldn't hear it hissing when I was on the road. For home use, I used the inline volume attenuator that comes with the Shure, and the hiss went completely away.
