D2 vs. my uncle's 3rd gen nano
noticed the pattern with rammstein
12gb D2 with X3i's
unfortunately they're gunna be on their way back to Singapore soon. Can someone tell me something similar to it but sturdier? Thanks

I like it a lot - lots of really deep bass (no midbass hump), lots of treble (not really fatiguing though), still great midrange, very precise and not muddy at all. Isolation is ok as well.
The only letdown is the soundstage... guess with all that overexcited market speech about "S-Logic" I was expecting them to have the best soundstage since... sliced bread. Well, my old DT770 have a better soundstage.
Build quality and comfort is so-so, but you probably can't have it all for that price.

Yes, they certainly are... but I like my Jazz, Metal, Bossa Nova, etc, with a little more bass as well. For me, they work well with a lot of genres.
