"Apologies, okay, so it's not strictly portable, and it can't quite get up to volume, but I had to post it..."
but Idk about the other guy.....
Quite correct. My e5's and KSC75's do my portable job quite nicely, I just kind of noticed one day that I had the right leads and adapters handy, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Nice Set-up. How much more playing time does that external battery pack give you for your iMod? and who makes the one you are using? Are you using rechargables?

it runs a fair bit longer, i havent measured exactly when it runs to empty but it last at least 8 longer, likely more.
i'm using the battery pack by Logic3 with Sanyo 2700mAH rechargeables. the pack didnt agree too well with the rechargeables wince they were slightly larger than alkalines, i had to shave and trim the insides a bit to get the battery contacts to take.

Here's a picture I recently took for the "Show your IEM's"-thread. Last time I posted here, I had the Meizu X6 DAP, I'm now running the iRiver E10:
No amp yet, but I doubt that I'll need one. The E10 pumps out 18+18mW, and it sounds great.
Nice. I've only been able to demo an E10 from an iRiver store while I was in Korea last year and haven't gotten much time to actually check the player out.
Have you listened to any other iRiver players? If so, can you compare them?
Thanks in advance.
