Yep, I am on the list for a Tomahawk. Looking forward to that.

I've also been TRYING to get on the list for a Larocco Diablo, but these apparently are made of unobtanium.

Sweet camille, this means we can test the 2G Shuffles for hiss at the meet! How is it with the EX90SL?

Now that's an amp I'm really looking forward to. I mean, reading the reviews, as it's USD 550

But it sure looks sweet.

Here's my latest rig. Still deciding on which amp to get.

Better than the Orpheus

Just kidding. They sound very muddy, and are more veiled than any Sennheiser I've had the opportunity to own/demo. On the plus side, they are extremely portable, comfortable, look fairly good, and isolate very well.

Newly acquired refurbished Rio Karma (first one got stolen, grrrr), backup Creative Zen USB2 (well worn), and a pair of Sennheiser CX300 with a clip added to the wire.
I think I'll replace the wire with that from my very old earbuds, as I can't stand the springiness of this one.

I'm not much of an audiophile, but I do have precise opinions on which players are best for me, and the iPod doesn't quite cut it.

That one caught my eye...how can you have an accurate opinion? Oxymoron of sorts?

For the guy who asked, I love my MDR-EX90. Much better than the 71s or 81s. Not as muddy as 71s and not as sharp as 81s. After trying that tape mod, it sounds SOOO much better. The bass difference is night and day.
